In each Lebanese house, one can feel the sweet spicy effluves that escape from the kitchen when making kamouneh. A mix of boulgour and aromatatoes typical of southern Lebanon, this traditional food is usually consumed immediately.
By combining centenary know-how and a modern approach to gastronomy, we have developed this ready-to-use culinary aid that restores all the gustative emotions of kamouneh. You can easily achieve this major culinary heritage dish, in the way of our grandmothers, as if you live in the countries of the Cedars! A greedy and ethical initiative that supports a women’s cooperative in southern Lebanon.
Ideal for shaping kebbé balls, vegetarian or not, kamouneh just as deliciously stuffs zucchini, eggplant and pepper as it accompanies roasted vegetables in the oven. Served in salad, it ingeniously enriches fibre and protein intakes.
INGREDIENTS:
BOULGOUR FIN (62%) (original: Lebanon), tomato concentrate, pepper paste, kebbé spices (cumin, marjolaine, paprika, black pepper, sweet spices, clove, cinnamon, dried mint, dried rose, pepper, Jamaica pepper) and salt.
*May contain traces of hazelnuts, sesame, nuts and milk.
